Test preparation and results

To confirm the final word selection of LexEst, we conducted a validation study involving 274 native Estonian speakers and 226 Estonian language learners. Based on the results, we wrote an article, which is available here. We found that the LexEst score distinguishes well between learners of different language levels and also correlates with their self-assessments of their Estonian language skills (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension).
