Test preparation and results

In order to confirm the final word selection of LexEst, we conducted a validation with 274 native speakers of Estonian and 226 learners of Estonian. You can read more about the primary results in English here, and the AMLaP 2024 conference poster based on the same results can be viewed here. The LexEst score distinguishes learners of different language levels well and also correlates with their self-assessments of their Estonian language skills (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
